Growing up in Mexico, I was a big fan of CODA, a great Hard Rock band that was huge at the time and Tonio was the guitar player. Years later I had the chance to meet him and he was kind enough to invite me to visit his studio and take me out to eat some delicious tacos for lunch.
He still plays with CODA and his other band QBO, apart from being a renowned producer, which has earned him a Grammy Award. His playing combines virtuosity with melody and feeling. He is, for me, one of the best guitar players in the world and it’s a big honour and a pleasure to have him on my music.

El ganador del Grammy TONIO RUIZ tocará un solo en el nuevo álbum
Creciendo en México, yo era super fan de CODA, una gran banda de Hard Rock que era enorme en ese momento y Tonio era el guitarrista. Años más tarde tuve la oportunidad de conocerlo y tuvo la amabilidad de invitarme a visitar su estudio y llevarme a comer unos deliciosos tacos.
Sigue tocando con CODA y su otra banda QBO, además de ser un reconocido productor, lo que le ha valido un premio Grammy. Su forma de tocar combina virtuosismo con melodía y sentimiento. Es, para mí, uno de los mejores guitarristas del mundo y es un gran honor y un placer contar con él en mi música.
